Altruist Relief Kitchen (ARK), the organisation you chose to receive monthly support in the Food, growing & community category, recently celebrated 2 years since serving their first meal in their Lviv kitchen, reaching another milestone just days later, serving their 300,000th meal! Deeply committed to sustainability and community resilience, ARK’s kitchen is built from recycled materials, powered by a wood stove, and run by a dedicated team of local hires and volunteers. Each day, they prepare and deliver up to 1,300 nourishing meals to displaced people, offering not just food but a sense of hope and solidarity. Their work is fuelled by a spirit of compassion, selflessness, and faith in a better future, shared by both volunteers and recipients. As they continue this vital mission in Ukraine, ARK is also working hard to establish a new kitchen in Tapachula, Mexico, to expand their support to other communities in need.
