FAME

Oct 5, 2025

Restoring fragile habitats and threatened rainforests, the Foundation for Australia's Most Endangered Species (FAME) works with schools, communities, and Indigenous Rangers to strengthen biodiversity. Working across Australia, they lead projects that control invasive threats, reintroduce species, and create long-term ecological impact. They are dedicated to protecting critically endangered species, such as the Red Handfish in Tasmania, through captive breeding, habitat management, and strategies including translocation and ecosystem restoration.
