The Sherpa Support Foundation helps Nepali Sherpa communities in the Himalayas maintain basic standards of living in reduced work periods of the year by providing access to food, shelter, healthcare, education, and critical opportunities that might not otherwise be available. Rallying behind the Sherpa community when climbing seasons are disrupted, the group mobilises food banks, clothing, supplies, and other much needed support services. Beyond disaster assistance, they expand educational access so Sherpa families can plan ahead and better identify unpredictable weather seasons and their impacts.
