The Gentle Barn offers a safe haven for farm animals that have endured neglect, abuse, or abandonment. Providing a home for nearly 200 animals across sanctuaries in Southern California and Tennessee, the sanctuary also invites people in - especially children facing trauma, special needs, or tough life situations - to connect through animal-assisted therapy with the animals’ stories becoming bridges toward empathy and recovery. Open to the public each Sunday, The Gentle Barn combines compassion, community, and pastoral calm to reconnect us with kindness, across species.
